Alex Grant, FNP-C

Micah Alexander Grant, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner serving patients at Weekend's Plus Urgent Care in Columbus, Mississippi. He is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare for patients of all ages, with an emphasis on timely treatment, preventive care, and overall wellness. Alex combines advanced clinical training with an evidence-based approach to help patients receive the care they need when they need it most.  

Alex obtained his Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2014, and completed his undergrad work at Mississippi University for Women in 2006.  Experience includes Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Practice, and Otolaryngology.  He continuously strives to learn, and has also studied at  The School of Applied Functional Medicine.  Alex is a Caledonia native, and currently resides there with his wife Amy and son Cullen

Alex is known for his approachable demeanor and dedication to building strong relationships with his patients. He believes that excellent healthcare begins with listening, education, and open communication, ensuring that each patient feels informed and supported throughout their care experience.
